Claire’s POV

Cole was already waiting for me in the living room.

“Where’s Marjorie?” I asked him.

“In the kitchen, preparing some food for you,” he smiled at me, “Thank you for giving her a chance to make it up to you, Claire,” Cole said.

“It’s time to forgive and forget everything,” I smiled.

I was having a good time with them when someone arrived. “Did you invite someone?” Cole turned to Marjorie who quickly shook her head.

“A surprised guest,” I chuckled.

Marjorie stood up to see who it was, and when she arrived I saw the confused look on her face while Jasper was behind her.

“Why are you here?” I asked him immediately.
