Claire’s POV

“I’ll be having dinner with Luke later in the evening,” I said.

“You found a great man, I can see how much he cares for you,” Caleb said and my thoughts said of course he cares because we’re friends.

“I did?” I asked him, smiling.

“Yeah, You do. I’m happy for you, Claire,” he smiled at me.

Later that day, I went home to prepare for the dinner slash proposal. I need to act surprised in front of the people. I look like a fool In front of the mirror acting how I’m supposed to react to Luke pulling the ring, I need to be pretty in every picture, that’s the goal.

I put some make up on to match my outfit and the occasion, as I put on the white dress I couldn’t help not to smile. Sooner I’ll be wearing a white wedding dress with Luke by my side.
