Claire’s POV

I decided to visit my parents’ house, where I was greeted with shouting in the living room. I hurriedly went to see who it was and what was happening, but my blood boiled in anger when I saw Gina shouting at my mom, looking for my dad.

“Where is he? Are you hiding him from me?!” Gina shouted at my mom.

“Why are you shouting in my mom’s house? You’re not in the right place to act this way. I think you forgot who you are! You’re just a mistress. My dad still chose to be back with my mother. Your audacity to come here, huh? What do you want from my dad? His money? Again? Why don’t you ask money from your son and stop pestering my family,” I shouted back at her. This was my first time talking back to her, and I just couldn’t contain it anymore.
