I didn’t know where my feet were taking me to but I didn't stop running. I just ran. I ran past the lockers, I ran past the classrooms, I ran past the people still laughing, still whispering, still staring. My eyes burned with unshed tears, and my legs ached with every step that I took, but none of it mattered. I just had to get away.

Away from them.

Away from him.

Away from everything.

But the universe wasn't done with me yet. It was like the whole world was against me.
