I walked through the corridors with Lion, who didn’t agree to let me go into the dungeons alone. I wore a thick reddish coat that protected me from the cold, and an icy wind blew everywhere. I was afraid of getting sick if I continued to walk around the castle so much; the doctor had advised me not to exert myself too much as the pregnancy was much more advanced.

I couldn’t help but go to him to find out why he had acted the way he did and look him in the eye before I knew he’d die on the gallows. This wasn’t a nice fate for someone so young and so ambitious.
