Chapter 371. She’s Not Mine

As we entered the door, the three of us found ourselves in a completely dark place. A room that had no end. The door closed behind us and seemed to disappear forever.
“I can’t see anything,” I cursed aloud, as I tried to take Sallie and Ian by the arm.
We couldn’t separate. Because we couldn’t even see where we were going. The three of us walked forward together, or wherever we were going.
The damn Tom snuck off and I couldn’t track him down because we couldn’t see. Ian was scared, I could hear his breathing heavily.
He wanted to let go of my arm.
“We can’t separate,” I said, forcing him to stay by my side.
He wanted to break free at all costs. Ian couldn’t express himself, because we couldn’t read what he wrote or interpret his signs in the total darkness. He wanted to leave and that’s why I intuited that maybe he had a clue. He was furious, angry, he wanted to leave as if his life depended on it.
