“Honey Tree?” I asked, curled up in my husband’s arms, as the strange image of Jason faded.

“It’s a village near our kingdom,” Jacob murmured, still taking in everything that had happened.

“A village… Why is he there?” I asked, unable to understand anything.

He fell silent, he wasn’t listening to me. I could see that his expression was the same as when he had to solve a problem. He had his eyes narrowed, a cold and thoughtful expression. He was distant, as if isolated. That was his temperament when he tried to connect the dots.

I did the same. We were both in a total silence when Carmen came to our side. She looked at me nervously.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her immediately. I could see in the expression on her face that something had happened to her.
