Chapter 399. Fire Between Them

I looked at my hands to see if it was convenient. The dough was becoming too stiff and unmanageable. I tried to combine the flour with the liquids but couldn’t.
Ian looked at me sternly.
“Aren’t you tired of me scolding you?” I asked, noticeably annoyed. “I’m the expert here.”
I felt my stomach ache from hunger. Maybe it would have been better to just eat scrambled eggs. Or the dried meat that was in the jars. Ian pushed me aside to keep cooking.
My face was stained with flour and I felt it was itching me.
“It’s… It’s allergies,” I said, scratching myself.
“You can’t be allergic to flour,” Ian rolled his eyes.
“Since you can talk, you only scold me. I didn’t think you would be so boring,” I said in a reproachful tone, walking in the other direction so that he would just stay there making the damn bread.
