Getting this to work was a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. Getting the ingredients together was the easy part. Cooking them to get them just right was quite complicated. Luckily, I found the salt to season the dough.
I placed the pot on the fire so it would not hit it directly and burn the outside. Otherwise, it would be raw on the inside and burnt on the outside.
I was really hungry and wanted the first meal I could taste after so many years to be something good. I stretched the buns to make a kind of thin loaf so it would cook evenly.
It began to toast and the aroma it released was quite delicious. I smiled.
