Tachje still hadn’t assigned me any work, and I found that quite offensive. Ian and Chris had been given tasks and assignments for days, and they were running around entertained.

For my part, I waited. I wanted to chase after Tachje to get him to give me an order, and he always seemed to be faster.

I wanted to find him to give me a chance. Because it wasn’t fair that they didn’t trust me to do a good job.

I was just as responsible as my teammates. I deserved my place there. I let out a sigh when no one appeared in the corridors.

Not having anyone to talk to was certainly depressing.
