Zack’s words were clear. His orders, direct.
I narrowed my eyes to clear my vision as I advanced with the cavalry to finally capture the interrogator.
My thoughts were overwhelming me.
“He doesn’t love me the way I love him.” I thought, over and over again.
Because he was punishing me more times than I thought. Every time I dared to question something, he punished me. The golden hands were more of a curse than a blessing.
The pain I had to experience every time he made my hands heavy was indescribable. I never thought I would have to experience that kind of pain again.
