Chapter 37. Back Home

[Bonnie’s Magical Store]

Lucas, Bonnie, and Ann made a rough landing inside Bonnie’s magical store. Ann wasn’t happy they left the Unknown Land without the mystic orb. They can’t return home empty-handed. She furrows her brows and walks away without saying a word to Bonnie or Lucas.

“Why is she upset?” Lucas asked with curiosity in his eyes.

“We returned without the mystic orb.”

What Bonnie did was save Lucas. If Lucas was able to poke around Mira’s memories to see how his very kind was killed with the mystic orb, then it’s not safe for him to be around the magic object that can obliterate him.

Ann understands this but at this time she cared less about Lucas. She just wants all this to be over with the mystic orb in their possession.

“Oh no, my dad must be so worried about my disappearance for days now. I must get back home.”
