Chapter 40. What’s in the Dark?

It was an old woman. She was lying helpless in the restroom. Detective White couldn’t help but wonder what the old woman was doing here. “Ma’am, are you alright? This is Detective White!” His Akdal Ghost TR01 was held firmly between his sweaty fingers. The light in the hallway was still flickering that he could barely see.
