Chapter 69. Walk Through

[Mystic cave]

Lucas and Bonnie made a smooth landing in the mystic cave.

“Please, don’t make me go against the will of your mother,” Bonnie pleaded.

“You have walked into the ancestors’ world and you are my key to getting there now.”

“I know, but don’t make me do this!” Bonnie cried out.

After their war with the vampires and werewolves, they reclaimed their witches’ quarters. The mystic cave now serves as a pathway that leads to the ancestors’ world. Lucas isn’t worthy to step into the ancestors’ world because he’s a hybrid: half werewolf, half wizard. Walking into the ancestors’ world would get him killed on sight.

Bonnie could plead his case if the ancestors want to harm him because of the wolf gene in him. “I need that mystical brimstone to save my friends,” Lucas said.

Bonnie hissed loudly. “Do you want to save them because they’re your frien
