Chapter 91. Saving the Alpha

“What are you doing?” Jane stared with a confused look.

This isn’t saving. Pete’s actions got her puzzled.

“A few tricks I learned from Jones,” Pete replied without looking up. His hand was still buried in Lucas’ chest. He isn’t pulling it out – instead, he held Lucas firmly in his arm. He glanced at Jane. There was a concerned look on her face. The look one gives when betrayed. “Relax,” he said. “I’m just trying to keep his heartbeat.”

“By burring your claws into his chest?” Jane cast a wide-eyed gaze.

At this moment, she doesn’t know whose side Pete is on.

“I’m just massaging his heart,” Pete spoke up in his defense. He knew that look on Jane’s face.

He focuses on his alpha and continued caressing his heart. It’s a way of reviving a werewolf if you noticed his heartbeat slowing down. By just massaging the heart, the heart will get back popping blood as it ought.<
