Chapter 35. Reuniting

Winston sauntered over to Emily and Wolfgang, peering at them with a sly grin: "What are you guys watching?" he asked, trying to provoke a reaction.

Emily was still fuming at him, so she ignored him. Wolfgang, on the other hand, was amused by his girlfriend's indifference, so the two of them acted as if Winston didn't exist.

But Winston had a new plan up his sleeve. He pulled out a few golf balls he had just bought and purposely left them in front of Wolfgang. At first, Wolfgang didn't pay them much attention, but as Winston kept throwing them farther and farther away, he couldn't help but become interested.

You see, as a werewolf, Wolfgang had an instinctual urge to chase after things and bring them back. This habit had developed from his childhood, when he and his friends used to live in the forest and hunt animals, bringing back the spoils to share with one another.

But now, Winston was purposely throwing the balls too far away, taunting Wolfgang with his face. I
