I walk back to my living room with a huge smile on my face and my eyes glowing from what just happened in James' living room.
Still leaning against the door, I close my eyes before touching my mouth and remembering the taste and sensation of his lips against mine, I bite my lower lip wanting to live that again, but to our misfortune, the secretary knocked on the door and interrupted our moment.
But I open my eyes when I remember the problems that might try to get in the way of our happiness, I wipe the smile from my mouth when I remember James' illness.
I feel my heart clench as I remember his blue eyes overflowing with tears that wanted to be shed long ago, but he always managed to keep his emotions under control until now, at least before his mother showed up and brought him horrible memories and reminders of everything, he had been through until now.
