Chapter 31

Juan was pleased with the idea that Sofia was going to bring in someone knew to the pack, and despite being sure about it at the moment he asked her to try to talk to Mateo about being a member of the Cold Forest Pack, she wasn't sure about that now.

"What bothers you now?" Miguel, a trusted friend of Juan approached him with the same worry that Juan had in his eyes.

"You know the reason why I am concerned at the moment," Juan responded in a way that sounded more like a question to him than an answer.

"Mateo is strong-willed and set in his ways," Miguel said with a nod. "Convincing him to join our pack will not be easy."

Juan sighed deeply. "That's exactly my concern. Sofia has her heart set on bringing him into the fold, but I fear she underestimates how stubbornly independent Mateo can be. But, I can't blame her too since I am the one that told her to bring him to the pack."

"True..
