"So where exactly did you have in mind?" Diego asked, trying to muster some enthusiasm.

Lucas grinned. "You'll see. It's this cool little bar I discovered a few weeks back off-campus. Real hole-in-the-wall kinda place, but with amazing drinks and a chill vibe."

"Sounds good to me," Diego replied with a small shrug. At this point, he was willing to go just about anywhere to get his mind off Sofia.

"That's the spirit!" Lucas clapped him on the back. "We'll grab a couple drinks, maybe shoot some pool. It'll be just what you need to take your mind off that girl for a while."

They headed off campus to the neighboring town. Lucas led them down a few side streets before stopping in front of a dimly lit building with a neon sign simply reading "Bar."
