Chapter 33
Diego looked at the screen for the second time, and there was still no response from Sofia.
He felt bitter as he bit the corner of his lips gently as if he wanted to both chew it and feel it softly at the same time.
It has been almost a week since he last saw Sofia in school, and all his attempts to reach out to her were not leading anywhere, and it angered him. It pained him to know that he was doing all he could to reach Sofia and it wasn't working out.
Slowly, Diego brought a book and a pen and started writing down his thoughts. It was a form of therapy he had learnt some years ago where writing down one's pain was another way of talking to an imaginary being who would only listen and not judge.
Diego opened his journal and began to write:
"Dear Friend,
It's me again. I'm at a loss over what to do about Sofia. We had such a great connection, or at least I thought we did. But now she won't respond to any of my mess
