Chapter 35. Saving Alexander

“Alex, stop, I beg of you,” Lucas shouted, his voice gone hoarse from constantly yelling at Alexander to stop, but he didn’t hear a word and continued in a daze.

“Stop, I love you, Alex. I won’t let you do this.” Lucas ran as fast as his legs could carry him. Although he knew he was no match for Alexander’s strength, without a thought, he blindly plunged into the ocean to save his friend.

Alexander lost the will to live after knowing that Serenity could never be his anymore. The ocean beckoned him and he wanted to embrace it and unite with his parents in heaven and ask them why they brought him into this world. To live like a piece of trash, unloved, forgotten, and neglected?

Colton, along with Grant from the surf school, and two lifeguards patrolling the area, rushed to rescue Alexander. They saw Lucas trying to swim after Alexander, but he was too far away for him. Grant accompanied a lifeguard in his rescue boat and set out to save Lucas, hauling him onto their b
