Chapter 34. Alexander Is Devastated

At last, Alexander felt relieved to be finally free, and boarded a flight from New York back to San Francisco. On his way to the airport, he had bought for himself a new mobile after his last one fell from his hands and broke down. The whole of last week had been a nightmare for him and he didn’t get time the entire week to do anything but look after his depressed sister, Paige, who was Mark Orbitz’s daughter. Being three years older than her, Alexander loved her like his own little sister.

So, when she and her husband Brandon Crosby left their home in San Francisco after a fight with Brandon’s parents, Alexander sheltered them in his home on Clay Street. Paige was pregnant with twins and advised complete bed rest because of complications from her pregnancy. They both were so worried and stressed that Alexander gave them their privacy. Although he wished to take Serenity home, he didn’t, not wanting to disturb Paige and her husband.
