Chapter 55. Silver Cave, China

It did not take long for the boat to reach China. Zhang docked it in an inconspicuous place so that Keme and the others would not see that they had already made it to shore.

“Come, there isn’t a moment to lose. Let’s get to my place, get to the herbs, and then head towards the Silver Cave in Guilin before Keme catches up to us.”

The four closed their eyes and, in a white flash, vanished from the dock and appeared on the doorstep of Zhang’s place within seconds.

“I’ll get the herbs we need for the spell. Grab some large stones for the protective circle. Seven should do it. I will then meet you all at the Silver Cave,” Zhang said to the three of them quickly. 

“And,” he continued, “please be safe. I consider you family.”
