Chapter 18

Yvonne's POV

"We've got no time to waste, enter the car and let's go!" I almost ended up asking about the two drivers he promised to bring when two young men emerged from the back of the car. "I know you might have thought where the drivers are, these are the ones who would be driving your car and Nelly's. Where is hers?"

I point to the metallic colored sports car at the garage and he signals one of the drivers. "The key?" He gestures to Nelly to hand it over to him, she does and he throws it over to the driver. I repeat the same procedure in my case and my key is given to the other driver. They both get into the car and start it, Jeff leads us into the car. I wanted to sit at the back with Nelly but he ordered me to come sit in the front with him.

I imagine what it means, if he still wants to be close to me or it's the norm, the ethics he uses is trying to play. I will observe his other body language to be able to make a proper judgment of what's going on.
