Chapter 36

"Are you two the same age? Sam tends to like guys that are older than her," Megan says and I roll my eyes.

"I'm actually older," Carl answers and I turn to him with a 'what the hell?' expression.

"I knew it!" Megan smirks at me when I turn back to look at her. "So, how did you two meet?"

"At school," Carl replies and I throw him an intensified 'what the hell?' look.

"Let me guess, Sam was drooling all over you?"

"Actually, it was the other way around."

"Really? So how did you two get together? Who said hi first, who initiated the first conversation, who admitted to love the other first?" Megan continues to question.

"That's none of your business, Megan, so stop with the questions!" I snap at her and she laughs, irking me the more. I furrow my brows in annoyance and confusion. What the hell is she laughing about?

"I wasn't asking you, I was asking Carl!" she says in between laughs and I scoff.

"I said hi first," Carl replies.
