Chapter 40

I lay on my bed, gulping my water as I check my phone. I see a text from Olive and open it.

[Olivia: What the hell, Sam? Why did you lead your fricking sister to my house?]

[Me: I didn't, we rode in the same car, didn't we? I think she stalked us or sth]

She replies almost immediately.

[Olive: She better not show up at my house again.]

[Me: I'll try my best to avoid that]

[Olive: You better]

I sigh as I debate on whether to do my homework or continue rehearsing for the casting. I guess I'll have to get started with my homework since it's due in two days then when I'm done with it, I can get back to the script. Sounds like a plan to me.

We are already in the first class, literally waiting for the bell and Olive is not even at school. Weird. She's always in school before any of us.
