Chapter 8
"Sam, is all this junk necessary?" mom asks, gesturing to my giant bag of junk food. I chuckle. I'm surprised it's still there even, mom probably left it because she knows it would make me feel better since I'm 'not feeling too well'.
"It's more than necessary mom," I yell back.
I can tell what mom prepared for dinner is ready from the aroma that filled the house; meatloaf. "Dinner is ready," mom announces, "dinner is ready!" she announces to Tiffany who is upstairs.
"Coming!"
"Mmm, I'm hungry already," dad says as he goes into the kitchen. He grins when he sees what's for dinner and kisses mom on the forehead. "You know just what I need when I need it," he tells her as he settles down to eat.
"Get a room," Tanya tells them as she walks into the kitchen.
"Sam, are you sure you don't want a taste, it's really good," mom offers and quite frankly, my mouth is already watering.
"A bite won't hurt," I say and go into the kitchen
