Chapter 10
Mrs. Bryan briefly addresses us and warns Allison about being distracted by the littlest and meaningless things which got in the way of the rehearsals. She dismisses us and we tell her "goodbye" before leaving the theater.
"Hey, you are so good. Why aren't you a cast in the play?" One of the actors approaches me. I think he plays the role of Barry or whatever, I'm not sure.
"I wasn't able to audition. It's a long story, I don't wanna bore you with it," I respond with an appreciative smile. It's nice to know that someone notices my acting skills even though I didn't really act- except for the times I showed them some demonstrations.
"That's sad. I hope you get the chance to act though, I would really love to see what you can do on stage."
"Thanks." My sheepish smile increases.
"See you around." He waves goodbye before walking past me and towards the entrance door. He must really be in a hurry.
