Chapter 25

Freya Rose

I felt dizzy for a second and stumbled backwards. Tristan’s reactions were lightning-fast as he shot his arm around me and pulled me towards his body. My breasts were almost flattened when they crashed into his solid chest. His hand on my back held me firmly in place, but as my knees buckled, he swiftly swept me up into his arms. I felt dizzy again, and this time, my eyes rolled back into my head, and I passed out. Tyler and Cassie were in the room with us when I came around. I could just about make them out as my eyelids fluttered, trying to make sense of the world around me. I didn’t know how long I had been out, but it was long enough for them to make it up the stairs and be by my side, ready for when I woke up. Once my eyes had focused, I could see them exchanging worried glances. I lifted my head from the pillow but became dizzy again.

“Freya, please stay still. The doctor is on her way,” Cassie spoke softly while gently easing my head back onto the pillo
