After flying for a few hours, I had finally made it to the Faction. I’d decided to land just on the edge of the property, where I thought I’d stay undetected for a little bit while I built up the courage to approach the house. I stood there staring at the house in the distance while I caught my breath. I couldn’t deny my nervousness. I had no idea what was going to happen, but I knew it wouldn’t be good. I didn’t want to upset my sister or the life she had built with Mason, but I had no choice. It was going to happen at some point because we needed them and the other factions for the war we faced with Azael. So, this situation was inevitable, but it still didn’t make me feel any better about tearing their life apart. I loved Mason, but I knew he would be happier in a monogamous relationship, and I couldn’t offer him that.
“Hey, Sweet cheeks,” a familiar voice called out from the trees.
As soon as I saw Evan, I cried with happiness while covering my mouth
