Amelia, Carmen and Imogen had been thrown into the cell building. They screamed the place down, but luckily, as soon as the huge steel doors were closed, we couldn’t hear them. I wasn’t in the mood for them and definitely didn’t have the time to deal with them and their dramatics, either. They were thinking of themselves, not the greater good or the safety of their so-called family. Amelia was too young and childish to ever put her faction first. All she was upset about was that I had taken Mason away from her. In reality, she had my sloppy seconds because she had a crush on him. She didn’t think of him or me or the fact that we were actual soul mates. Carmen’s reaction was to be expected, and as for Imogen, well, she was all nice to me because she had slept with my Fenid. I could do without any of them girls. If they decided to join, then fine. If not, then they could run off to other factions just like those other cowardly hunters did.
