After confirming that no threats remained in the underground bunker, we gathered every survivor, making sure none were injured. Sylin had also left her summoned wolf behind to guard the humans; I can personally vouch for that beast’s power. It was more than capable of taking on members of the Dreadmaw pack and finishing them off when necessary.
Once everyone was accounted for, Holy, Vaela, Rydan, Sylin, and I climbed out of the bunker and paused to consider our next move. But first, Auraya insisted I arm myself properly—she refused to let me stumble into battle with nothing but my bare hands.
