Chapter 11. Completing the Prophecy
A pale crescent moon hung in the sky, and the twinkling stars created a spectacular scene that never failed to captivate onlookers. Clover, currently gazing at it, had never missed a night without taking a moment for the moon.
A smile adorned her lips as she reminisced about the recent conversation with her father, noting the absence of harsh words. It was brief but marked a positive shift that she believed needed further improvement.
On Clover’s back, Lupe silently admired her daughter’s tremendous strength and courage. Attempting to surprise her, Lupe crossed her arms, but before she could, Clover spoke up.
