“What did Moira mean?” Noah muttered. “I think something big is going on in that family.” 

“That’s how it is,” I replied nonchalantly. “Eva got pregnant without anyone knowing who the father is and Peter considered it a big disgrace and must be trying to abort the baby. After I rejected him, who knows who he got to do it.” 

“I’m sure it must be someone completely unconvincing that Moira was willing to kneel in front of you so that you would stop Peter from doing it,” Noah said.
