Eva POV
I saw Leora lying on the floor with a knife stuck in her back. Red stains spread quickly on her clothes and I felt dizzy when people started screaming.
A man ran out of the cafeteria, followed by several men who came from nowhere, running faster after him. The atmosphere became so chaotic instantly.
Peter ran and quickly carried Leora in bridal style.
“Eva, wait there, I’ll take Leora to the ICU,” Peter shouted at me.
I sat weakly on the chair. What happened? Was it an attempt to kill Leora? Who did it?
Suddenly I remembered my mother. I felt my legs and hands freeze. Could it be she who did it, telling her lover or whoever to harm Leora?
