Giovanna stood in front of the mirror assessing her situation. What was she doing there? Why wasn't she running away? She didn't want that wedding. She didn't want to be Luna and what was worse. She hated the Alpha. She remembered the first time she had been taken to him to be introduced as his fiancée. Luc stared at her with such contempt that she felt like the least of the Werewolves. When they were left alone to talk about the wedding, as was the custom laid down by the ruler Eros, who died shortly after her birth, Luc didn't try to hold a conversation with her and stood watching her as if he had a worm in front of him. But she was willing to have a good relationship with him, since she couldn't escape that fate. Neither of them could.
