Chapter 29. The Dance

Luc cocked his head to one side and looked at her with a curious, amused smile, but took his mobile phone out of his pocket and handed it to her. Would she try calling Theo? That would be fun.

Giovanna looked at him and, without saying anything, took Luc's finger and placed it on the screen to unlock the device and, taking one of her shopping bags that had been brought into the bedroom, went into the bathroom.

Luc took off his shoes with an amused smile. That girl had a different way of surprising him. Why did she simply ask him to unlock his mobile phone? But he liked her attitude. She never purposely touched him and that spontaneous gesture of contact, of that soft hand, pleased him too much. What was Giovanna planning? Would she call Theo in the bathroom? He shook his head.
