Chapter 25. Surprises
The gods were distracted on the second day of the meeting by the affairs of humans in other corners of the world and forgot the main subject of the meeting. When Anchan decided that it was time for him to rest, and that the next day he would return to his land at night, the gods decided that they would talk about one last subject in the afternoon. And so Anchan went to rest, but he was too anxious to make it, because he wanted to get back into Giovanna's arms. He knew that she would accept any proposal he made, because she must be madly in love with him and he would stay with her until old age took away her rare beauty.
