Chapter 89. Lost Memories
All the werewolves could feel Luc's angry and sad feelings, because Giovanna was letting them know what had happened too.
Luc fell to his knees in front of Giovanna after she removed her hand from his face, and in tears he held her waist with one hand and touched her belly with the other, as if somehow he could change what had happened. The pain was excruciating. He was desolate.
Giovanna watched him coldly for a while and then turned away.
"I'm not going to console you, Luc. I hate you." She said and looked at Freya next to Jensen. "And that will be your punishment. To live knowing what you've lost and how you've lost it. It's not as bad as what I have in store for Freya. E... You won't be with Gaius. In fact, you'll never see him or me again."
