Chapter 11. The Search for a Cure
The young woman raised her head and looked fearfully at Jordan, who immediately realized that he shouldn't have said that.
"How does she haunt your friend?"
"He often dreams about her." Jordan said, hoping that the man wouldn't ask any more questions about the young woman. He had no intention of harming that young woman.
"Her name is Jasmine. I'm not keeping her here. She can move on whenever she wants. But she doesn't want to. She's attached to something in her world. And you must understand that I love her, and I don't want her to get attached to anything here. That would get in the way of our happiness."
"She's just a child! You should be old enough to be her father or grandfather!" Jordan said in disgust at the possibility of that man having sex with the young girl. The man was tall and looked about fifty-five. He had dark eyes and long brown hair tied up in a ponytail.
