Chapter 17. The Detective

Jordan approached Raika's desk again and waited, drumming his fingers on her desk in an obvious gesture of impatience. Raika continued to stare at the computer screen for a while, but her curiosity won out and she looked away from him.

"Can I help you?"

"Yes. I want you to apologize to me right now."

Raika stopped what she was doing and looked at him with interest.

"And why would I do that?"

"Because you insulted me."

"I don't understand... When did that happen?"

"You mixed your insult with flattering words, but my friend didn't miss that detail." Jordan said, pointing at the camera.

Raika didn't bother to look at the camera again and lost interest in the conversation, going back to her chores.

"Sorry, sir." She said, already engaged in her work.

"That's all? Don't you want to know what the insult was?"
