Samira turned around with her bundle and strode past Brendon, bumping into him with her arm.

"I think you should all have coffee together to get to know each other better. In the meantime, I've prepared a special lunch to celebrate this unprecedented encounter. I suppose you'll be staying for lunch, right?" Lurdes asked while casting an annoyed glance at Brendon, who immediately realized that he must have made a bad impression on his father's stepmother.

"We'll stay if Yelena accepts..." Ivan said, turning inquiringly to his stepmother.

"I'd really appreciate it. It's a unique opportunity to meet my grandson in his habitat." She said, patting Ivan on the arm.

"Then I'll let Brendon take you to the dining room and then I'll serve the coffee." Lurdes said and left.
