Chapter 38. Intolerance

Lurdes returned with more food, and then everyone began to serve themselves and talk at the same time. When they had finished their meal, Ivan turned to his son.

"Yelena wants to have an introduction party at the house. Needless to say, I don't know many people around here and you're all invited. Can I borrow some of your friends, Brendon? I'll call Olav and some other guests, but it's not a good party if there aren't many people. Yelena likes parties and contrary to what I would have liked, I bought a slightly bigger house so that she could have her parties." He said and took a card out of his pocket and handed it to Brendon. It contained his address.

"When is the party?" Brendon asked, putting Ivan's card on the table.

"We were thinking the weekend of the first week of next month. What do you think?"
