Chapter 88. The Kidnapping

He lowered his head and when he raised it again, his eyes were shining with amusement, which reminded Giovanna of Luc from her childhood when he was about to do something that would surprise her. It made her think of something.

"We'll see you soon, Giovanna."

"Why are you making a point now? Wasn't it just my 'no' that you needed to be happy? Well? I've set us both free."

"I like challenges, Giovanna. And you've just become one."

Giovanna laughed, not caring what he said.

"Tell me, Lic... Why did you want to know if I'm a virgin or not?"

"For two reasons. Firstly, because I was intrigued. I had sources who assured me that you were a virgin, but suddenly I saw you wearing an outfit that didn't match that information."

"So it was just out of pure curiosity?"

"I didn't say the second reason. Curiosity could be solved once we were
