Chapter 146. Hektor's Revelations

Luc arrived on the balcony. She sensed it. She didn't have to turn around to know he was there. She could feel him. And his perfume also made it very easy to know it was him. He hugged her from behind and looked in the direction of her eyes. He saw the lion.

"You should go to him." He said seriously. But that wasn't what surprised Giovanna. It was hearing his voice addressing her. He didn't do that very often.

"Why?"

"You trust him more than me, and I know he has some news to tell you." Luc said, gave her neck a hard suck and left.

Giovanna sensed that something had happened. Luc wouldn't break the silence between them for nothing. She decided to go to the lion. She went out through the large gate and met him. He was sitting there staring at her without even blinking. She approached it and felt like stroking its head as if it were a pet, but stopped herself. He certainly wouldn't approve.
