Delaney

I could feel heat spreading all over my body, like I was directly suspended above a camping fire, except I couldn't hear the sound of fire crackling. What I could perceive were voices, merely audible to my ears. I tried opening my eyes, but I could feel something blocking my eyelids from moving that went round all around my ears. My attempts to talk were futile, because, like my eyes and ears, something was tied around my mouth all the way to the back of my head. I tried moving, but I couldn't, I was restrained.

"She's awake," someone said, their voice sounding closer.

"Mmh, so nice of you, Luna, to finally join us." I couldn't forget how Vex sounded even if I wanted to. The disgust in her voice and the mockery as she referred to me as 'Luna' were almost palpable.

"How does it feel to be away from your mate
