Chapter 59
That night, the perfect idea came to Smith as he slept. He was not one to believe in spirituality, but the intensity of the revelation he had almost certainly made it feel like a vision from God. At once, he got out of bed and picked up his cell phone, but Teddy didn’t answer, and it went to voicemail. He was in a hurry to tell his partner the idea that had come to him while he slept or, as the case may be, the idea that had been revealed to him.
He glanced at the bedside clock; it was just a few minutes past 3 a.m. In a couple of hours, he should be getting ready to go to work. For the past few days, he had not been the easiest sleeper.
Most of his night hours were spent on him contemplating the next move for the mission or trying to complete paperwork from the office.
