That romance ended the following year. The first change he noticed in her was the change in her sexual behavior. She began to sleep in the guest room downstairs, and most times when he returned from work, she did not bother coming to welcome him. When he asked about it, she attributed it to stress at work and promised to sort it out.
Two weeks later, she had not done anything about it, and the issue became worse.
