The bartender assured him that Juice was the right woman for him to find if he had a case in Salem. Of course, Smith had not told the man that he had a deal in Salem; he had simply said that a colleague of his was running into trouble trying to find information in Salem. The man was glad to help him; after all, Smith was also dreaming of doing everything possible to break away from his illegal deals at the bar.
