Chapter 158. Waiting

Trisha burst into bashful laughter, making the driver glance at them through the rearview mirror. They were starting their way to meet Mister Vero, and Carl was hoping to ask Trisha how she was, but when he noticed she was all smiles ever since he saw them walking out of the City Hospital's lobby, the driver took it as she was fine. He decides to ask later when he gets the chance to tell Marie if there is something to let her know about Trisha's situation.

Soon enough they were face to face with Denny. Trixie did not want to show her honest impression right away, so she just gave a poker face. She was formal, casual, cold, and somehow intimidating.
